For schools

A mini-forest in your school's courtyard.

A living space where students learn science, biodiversity and environmental responsibility for real, with their own hands.

At Escola Secundária de Amora, the courtyard became a living laboratory. Students and teachers follow soil regeneration, water retention and the interaction between species up close. At Escola Sebastião da Gama, it was the 8th grade classes that took on the mission of forest guardians, a commitment that carries on long after planting day.

We know most schools have no budget of their own for a project like this, and it is normal for that to be the first question. In practice, most school islands come out of a partnership: a company in the region sponsors the planting as part of its social responsibility, and the school brings the space, the students and the educational follow-up. That is how it worked at Sebastião da Gama, with Lisnave's support, and how it will work for the next island, at Escola Sant'Lago, in November 2026.

We help find that partnership. If your school is interested, we start by understanding the space and the project, and in parallel we help identify companies in the area with a potential interest in sponsoring it.

Escola Secundária de Amora is the proof that it is also possible with direct investment from the school or the municipality, where that path exists.
